The Green Seal Team
Green Seal is made up of five departments working cohesively towards our mission of creating a more sustainable world. These departments are: Science and Standards; Certification; Institutional Greening Programs; Marketing and Outreach; and Administration and Finance.
The scientists and Ph.D.s in our Science and Standards Department lead life cycle and environmental research and work with experts and stakeholders to develop Green Seal's life-cycle based environmental standards. The Certification Department, which is staffed by engineers, environmental scientists and auditors, award the Green Seal to products and services that demonstrate compliance with our environmental standards. The Institutional Greening Programs Department works with governments, health care facilities, universities and private institutions to help green their purchasing, operations and facilities management. All communications are overseen by the Marketing & Outreach Department. And finally, the Administration and Finance Department makes sure it all runs smoothly. Read on to meet our staff.
