GREEN SEAL™ ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD HAND CLEANERS FOR INDUSTRIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL USE - GS-41
The Green Seal Environmental Standard for Hand Cleaners for Industrial and Institutional Use, GS-41, establishes environmental requirements for industrial heavy-duty hand cleaners and institutional hand cleaners. The standard does not include hand cleaners used in households, food preparation operations, or medical facilities.
The standard includes product performance requirements and environmental and health requirements such as reduced human and aquatic toxicity and reduced volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The standard can serve as a tool to help companies begin to take action to improve their products and is available for Green Seal certification.
