The draft standard recognizes environmental leadership in trash bags and can liners based on plastic efficiency: reducing virgin plastic use to the minimum amount required to maintain top performance for the product\u2019s gallon size. The standard would ensure certified products provide uncompromising performance while reducing the use of virgin plastic and associated carbon emissions. Learn more about the intended outcomes of the <a href=\"https:\/\/greenseal.org\/staging\/can-liners\">GS-60 Standard<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Working Group of Trusted Advisors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Green Seal uses stakeholder feedback to inform our decisions on final standard criteria. This includes using Advisory Groups composed of market and technical experts from three interest categories: producers, users, and general interest. The participation and input of these stakeholders is critical to achieving a strong outcome: a meaningful, feasible environmental leadership standard.
