Manufacturers of sanitary paper products for institutional or retail markets.
What does “no virgin tree-fiber” mean?
Under our sanitary paper standard, eligible products must be made either from 100% recycled fiber (with defined minimum post-consumer recycled content) or from sustainably sourced alternative fibers (such as bamboo or agricultural residue).
Which chemicals are restricted?
The standard prohibits the use of functional PFAS additives, restricts colorants, limits chlorine-based bleaching, and mandates safer chemical profiles throughout manufacturing. Review the standard for additional details.
