Green Seal Verified Raw Materials
Green Seal Verification confirms that a raw material meets the chemical-specific requirements of our stringent standards. We look beyond the active ingredients to the full composition of your raw material and ensure that all the chemicals, including impurities and by-products, will make the cut in Green Seal certified products.
How it works
- You choose the standards you want to verify against and the maximum recommended use level for your product.
- We’ll screen your formula against ingredient-specific health and environmental criteria of the relevant standards and confirm that everything is acceptable. We’ll also provide details on how your raw material fits with product-level criteria that may affect your prospective customers

Green Seal Verified Formulas and Concentrates
Green Seal Verified Formulas and Concentrates give private label customers a big head start in their pursuit of Green Seal certification. Private labelers who use a verified formula or concentrate and follow our guidelines are eligible to use the Green Seal certification mark on their products.
How it works
- Formulas: We’ll verify that your formula – if followed exactly – meets the health, environmental and performance requirements of the relevant Green Seal Product Standards. A company that uses the appropriate raw materials and follows your verified formula can apply with us to use the Green Seal certification mark on their private-label products.
- Concentrates: We’ll verify that your concentrate – if diluted appropriately by private labelers – meets the health, environmental and performance requirements of the relevant Green Seal Product Standards. We’ll also conduct a site audit of your manufacturing facility. Companies that dilute your verified concentrate accordingly can apply with us to use the Green Seal certification mark on their private-label products.

Green Seal Verified Parent Rolls
Using a Green Seal Verified Parent Roll gives converters a much simpler path to earning Green Seal certification. The parent roll and its performance testing results have both already been verified to meet the requirements of the relevant Green Seal Product Standards.
How it works
Whether you produce printing, writing, towel, tissue or other sanitary paper products, we can verify your parent roll against our standards.
