David Havelick
David Havelick is Associate Director in the Office for Sustainability at Harvard University, where he advances sustainability across the University’s operations and value chain. His work focuses on responsible procurement, supplier engagement, and continuous improvement in purchasing practices. David led the development of Harvard’s Sustainable Cleaning Standards and manages performance reporting and collaboration with the University’s major cleaning vendors to advance health and environmental outcomes. He also works to measure and reduce Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions associated with purchased goods and services. David holds a master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management from the Harvard Extension School.
