Jamey Gaston

Jamey Gaston started his career as a formulation chemist of industrial cleaning products in 1994 where he developed a full range of products including hard surface cleaner, air care, laundry, hand soaps, and various other products and chemistries. In 2000, Gaston took a position at SCJohnson Professional, now Diversey, where he was the senior project leader in the floor care product division.

Gaston currently leads Quality, Science, and Regulatory Affairs at Midlab Inc., specializing in industrial and institutional cleaning and maintenance chemicals. As a pivotal member of the International Sanitary Supply Association, Midlab’s commitment to quality and innovation drives our success in a competitive industry.

Previously, Gaston was the Vice President of Research and Technology at a leading manufacturer of industrial pesticides and wood preservatives. His tenure there was marked by a focus on advancing research initiatives and integrating cutting edge technologies to enhance product efficacy and safety.

Gaston’s extensive experience includes a 17-year role as the global Technology Manager for industrial coatings and floor polish polymers at OMNOVA Solution, now Synthomer, a manufacturer of emulsion polymers for the coatings industry. In this capacity, Gaston spearheaded development of emulsion polymers, additives, and wax emulsions, driving significant advancement in product performance and market competitiveness.
