Jean Lupinacci
Jean Lupinacci brings more than 40 years of leadership in environmental protection, sustainability, and energy efficiency to the Green Seal Board of Directors. During her distinguished career at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Jean led innovative partnerships with businesses, utilities, and state and local governments to advance cost-effective climate and energy solutions. As Director of EPA’s Climate Protection Partnerships Division, she oversaw programs including ENERGY STAR and the Green Power Partnership, which have helped Americans save more than $500 billion and achieve more than 6 billion metric tons of greenhouse gas reductions. Jean also founded and led the ENERGY STAR commercial buildings program, pioneering tools that transformed how organizations measure and improve building energy performance. Her earlier work included international leadership under the Montreal Protocol to protect the stratospheric ozone layer. Today, Jean continues to apply her experience to advancing economic mobility and community partnerships through her work with local nonprofit organizations.
