Megan Byers

Megan Byers is a Program Director at the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR), where she brings a strategic, accessible approach to the organizations’ programs. Megan leads cross value chain initiatives to design packaging for circularity, reduce unnecessary material use, and eliminate problematic materials. Previously, she led communications, policy, and stewardship initiatives at the Product Stewardship Institute, where she specialized in plastic pollution prevention. She has a background in ecosystem science and is passionate about the power of design to unlock systems-level change.
