Nancy Hersh

Nancy Hersh is an experienced corporate leader and an expert in Data Science and Analytics, with a focus on Climate. Today, Nancy runs her own consulting practice that helps growth companies to develop data science strategy and build data science capabilities. Previously, Ms. Hersh was the Chief Data Officer at Arcadia where she built data products to combat climate change. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Analytics and Data Science at Opower, a technology company that uses Data Science and Behavioral Science to reduce energy consumption. Opower was acquired by Oracle in 2016. Previously, Ms. Hersh was the Managing Director of Analytics at the Corporate Executive Board, ran the Analytics group at Digital Impact, and worked in management consulting (BCG) and private equity. She is an active proponent of diversity in the practice and leadership of Data Science. Ms. Hersh graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Masters of Science in Engineering Economic Systems.
