Rebecca Kaufold is Manager of Government Affairs & Sustainability at Spartan Chemical,
advocating for science-based policy on chemical safety, ingredient transparency, and
packaging sustainability through national industry partnerships.

Rebecca Kaufold is the Manager of Government Affairs & Sustainability at Spartan
Chemical Company, Inc., where she directs regulatory strategy and ensures compliance
with OSHA, EPA, FDA, and state requirements. She began her career at Spartan in 2001 as
a chemist, developing 18 commercial products and earning two U.S. patents. With a B.S. in
Molecular Biology and an M.B.A., Rebecca bridges technical innovation and policy
leadership. She represents Spartan in national trade associations including HCPA, ISSA,
and AMERIPEN, where she influences public policy on safer chemicals, ingredient
transparency, and packaging sustainability. Recognized as ISSA’s Advocate of the Year
(2023) and a three-time HCPA Division Volunteer Award recipient, she is widely respected
for advancing science-based regulatory advocacy. Beyond her profession, Rebecca is a
wife, mother of twins, community leader, and avid marathon runner.
