What product categories fall under these standards?

What standards apply for each product type?
- Green Seal Standards for Paints, Coatings, Stains and Sealers (GS-11)
- Green Seal Standard for Adhesives for Commercial Use (GS-36)

Are PFAS allowed in certified paints, coatings, and adhesives?
No, we verify that products are formulated without any intentionally added PFAS or other harmful chemicals. Colorants also may not be formulated with any PFAS. Our PFAS criteria ensure manufacturers of certified products are prepared to comply with upcoming state-level PFAS regulations and avoid introducing other known hazards into their product formulas.
